For the last 12 years, it has been voted Best Breakfast in the FargoMoorhead area and has received numerous awards from Locals Love Us. And, in 2018, People magazine recognized The Shack as having the best breakfast in the state.

Under the new ownership of Stacy Jones, who bought the restaurant in early 2023 after working there for over 10 years, The Shack hasn’t skipped a beat.

The menu features breakfast, lunch, and dinner served all day. And yes, they are still making the best caramel rolls you’ve ever had (but, if you want one, be sure to get there before 10 a.m.).
