Fast, Fresh, Fabulous Barbeque. That is what The Piggy BBQ prides itself on. The Piggy BBQ is a family-owned restaurant in West Fargo. The first location was initially
founded in 2012 in Walker, MN, and The Piggy BBQ quickly grew a name for itself. It was established in May 2020 by husband and wife Amie Ysteboe Hopper and Steve
Hopper who purchased the franchise in 2016. Amie’s mom Kim Hoffman has
been part of The Piggy BBQ since the acquisition in 2016 and is looking forward to her upcoming retirement.
“We have always been fans of the FargoMoorhead area,” says Amie Ysteboe Hopper. “Our Minnesota location has had such great support from our travelers from the Fargo-Moorhead area that we wanted to bring a location their way–we get requests to open all over, but we inevitably chose West Fargo for our 1st expansion!”
The Piggy BBQ uses only the highest quality ingredients and smokes fresh daily–all of the meats are dry-rubbed with sauce on the side, creating a complete, robust flavor. Their legendary Piggy Sauce & Spicy Piggy Sauce are the perfect complements to these fabulous meats. In addition to the mouth-watering menu, the space offers rustic wood tones, a doublesided fireplace, and is home to North Dakota’s largest bourbon selection.
