Red River Coffee Co., established in 1985, is owned by Katelynn Smith. She is a Fargo native and Concordia College alumna who has always dreamt of owning a coffee shop.

Offering over 40 different flavored roasts and 30 loose-leaf tea flavors, Red River Coffee Co. is a place where you’re almost certain to find what you want. The shop’s cozy atmosphere welcomes visitors to enjoy freshly ground and brewed coffee, homemade cake donuts, muffins, scones, and a full breakfast and lunch menu.
Red River Coffee Co. actively supports the community by partnering with local organizations like Homeward Animal Shelter and the Fargo Police Department. Their dedication to community, respect, and consistency earned them a nomination for the 2023 Small Business of the Year award by the FMWF Chamber and, to be honest, that’s not surprising.
