Valley Christian Counseling & Wellness is growing—because the need is growing. With children’s mental health needs rising fast, the team is expanding its services into a brand-new Child Therapy Center in the former Chuck E. Cheese building next door to its Fargo clinic.
This expansion is timely. Over the past two years, demand for Valley’s children’s services has surged by 300%. Families across the region are looking for support that is compassionate, Christ-centered, and clinically sound. Valley is answering that call.
The team includes licensed counselors, play therapists, and pediatric occupational therapists who work with children to build emotional resilience, social skills, and confidence. From anxiety to trauma to developmental challenges, they meet kids where they are—using age-appropriate tools, creativity, and care.
Their play-based therapy gives younger children the chance to express emotions without pressure. Pediatric OT helps kids grow in fine motor skills, focus, coordination, and independence. Sessions are rooted in faith, backed by evidence, and tailored to each child’s needs.
But it’s not just about children. Valley also offers counseling for teens, adults, couples, and families. Their model is relational and whole-person. Every therapist is clinically trained and spiritually grounded, offering guidance that’s professional and personal.
Each month, Valley supports hundreds of families, facilitating over 2,000 appointments. Their impact extends beyond the clinic through partnerships with churches, nonprofits, and workplaces.
