Behind the scenes, the dedicated WE Fest team works yearround. With diverse skills and a shared commitment, they uphold the festival’s rich legacy while ensuring its future vitality.
WE Fest is proud of its deep roots in the Detroit Lakes community. Each summer, the festival employs hundreds of staff, partners with dozens of local vendors, and creates fundraising opportunities for nonprofit organizations across the region. Recognized as one of the Top 10 Best Country Music Festivals in the U.S. by Holler Country Music Magazine in 2025, WE Fest continues to invest in its future. Recent capital improvements include expanded electrical access in campgrounds, enhanced backstage areas, and a new upper-level lounge in the Grandstand.
In 2025, WE Fest continues to innovate with programming, featuring four stages hosting live music throughout the event. This ongoing evolution underscores WE Fest’s commitment to delivering an exceptional experience for fans, artists, and the local community alike.
