The EFP Team
The Emergency Food Pantry (EFP) helps families in Cass and Clay Counties access healthy food during times of need. Founded in 1972, the organization distributes canned goods, dairy, meat, and fresh produce, carefully sourced to match dietary needs.
In 2024, the EFP team and 1,088 volunteers served over 22,000 people, distributing 1.5 million pounds of food valued at more than $3 million. Their goal goes beyond short-term relief. They help connect families with local resources and work to build long-term food security.
EFP is the area’s largest food pantry, and one of the only ones focused on offering a diverse, healthy selection rather than relying solely on donations.
They’ve earned awards from the Fargo Human Relations Commission and the FMWF Chamber. Want to help? Volunteer, host a food drive, or donate.
