Embrace Therapy Services, co-owned by Emilee Staehnke (Speech Therapist), Christina Swendra (Occupational Therapist), and Trisha Page (Executive Director), is dedicated to creating environments where clients learn essential skills to thrive. Speech Therapy: Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) at Embrace specialize in articulation, language delays, feeding disorders, and orofacial myology concerns. They also assist children needing communication devices and those facing literacy and dyslexia challenges. They also provide specialized assessments for tongue ties, feeding, and swallowing issues, and incorrect tongue posture to optimize oral muscle function.
Occupational Therapy: Occupational therapists (OTs) at Embrace address fine motor function, vision concerns, coordination, sensory processing, and cognitive tasks. Sensory integration techniques are seamlessly integrated into therapy sessions to make therapy enjoyable and effective.
Autism Consults: Embrace collaborates with organizations and businesses to better equip them to support and employ individuals with autism. They help families understand the diagnosis, explore opportunities, and improve lifestyles and home environments.
In-Home and Daycare Services: Therapists visit homes, daycares, and other relevant settings to ensure optimal collaboration and continuity of care.
Advocacy and Coordination: Embrace coordinates with schools, healthcare providers, and community resources to support clients comprehensively.
Founded in 2019, Embrace Therapy Services began with home visits and has grown to a clinic with 15 professionals. Their focus is on supporting clients, empowering families, and embracing diversity. Their goal is to help clients achieve the impossible.
