Dr. Michael Noffze is looking to make a difference in the community, one surgery at a time. As a boardcertified oral and maxillofacial surgeon in private practice, he is certified in and practices pathologic, cosmetic, traumatic and reconstructive surgery, to name a few.
Dr. Noffze was inspired to enter the profession at a young age.
“My mother was a nurse, as well as both of my older sisters, so I knew that I wanted to venture into the healthcare field in some form. Also, I’ve always loved working with my hands, so surgery combines both and takes it to the next level,” Noffze said.
“The thing that I love the most from a surgical standpoint are dental implants because we can literally reconstruct somebody’s smile in a day with very minimal pain and post-op discomfort. It’s very rewarding for us knowing that we’re not making patients suffer and they’re seeing immediate results that they’re proud of.”
Today, Dr. Noffze has served over 15,000 patients, with an average of 1,500 per year. Dr. Noffze attended Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he earned his dental degree with highest distinction. Following, he received his training in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the Mayo Clinic. He also received his medical degree from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine as well as a certificate in preliminary general surgery.
Dr. Noffze is currently a member of multiple professional organizations including the American Dental Association and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also the director of one of the largest dental study clubs in the United States and speaks nationally and internationally on dental implants.
