Led by surgeons Dr. Corbett Haas and Dr. Ryan Smart, Prairie Oral Surgery is the only practice in the Fargo-MoorheadWest Fargo region with doctors who are both certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and who are also Fellows of the prestigious American College of Surgeons. Additionally, both Dr. Haas and Dr. Smart attended Harvard Medical School and received their training at the world-renowned Massachusetts General Hospital.
At their core, Dr. Haas and Dr. Smart want the best for their patients and ease them through processes that can be a source of anxiety for many. Both the doctors and the staff ensure procedures are explained carefully and clearly, and the team is ready to take all the time that is needed to answer any questions or alleviate any concerns patients and families may have.
Prairie Oral Surgery also works closely with your dentist to provide full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery care including tooth extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, full mouth reconstruction, corrective jaw surgery, TMJ care, head and neck pathology, and trauma, as well as a full complement of sedation services. The team will be with you and available through the entire post-operative period, and clients are given direct access to their doctor at any time throughout recovery.
In 2022, Prairie Oral Surgery was assigned as an All-on-4 Treatment Concept Center of Excellence. In one day, patients can have teeth extracted, implants placed, and a full smile renewed! While most cases can be treated in the outpatient surgery center, for those requiring higher level care, Drs. Smart and Haas both have operating and admitting privileges at local hospitals. They work closely with their anesthesia colleagues in both settings so that no matter their oral needs, patient safety is always secure
