The Emergency Food Pantry (EFP) offers a cart of food to families in Fargo-MoorheadWest Fargo and the surrounding area. In addition to offering a variety of healthy foods that meet unique dietary needs, the EFP also provides basic essentials to households such as toilet paper and soap, and even extras like birthday cake kits for kids!
“When we prepare food baskets, we ask clients a few questions to gain a better understanding of their needs beyond hunger,” Stacie Loegering, Executive Director said. “Then, we partner with outside organizations to help meet those additional needs.”
The EFP team consists of both paid staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure neighbors in need have a variety of healthy food choices. The team of employees focuses on accomplishing the EFP’s mission, while also matching volunteer’s strengths with opportunities that are rewarding and interesting.
“It’s an honor to be a part of a compassionate, diverse team of people striving to maintain a quality program and improve the EFP’s service,” Stacie said.
