Founded in 2010 by Amanda Helgoe, DPT, Bodyworks Physical Therapy was created to offer a personalized place for healing in the community—a place where patients know they can get relief from their pain and quickly return to their normal lives. Bodyworks has since grown to a team of six physical therapists and two massage therapists.
Bodyworks specializes in treating neck and back pain, orthopedic conditions, mobility issues and women’s health issues including pregnancy pain and pelvic conditions. Their new facility in south Fargo holds a state-of-the-art aquatic therapy machine, featuring an underwater treadmill alongside their other treatments including post-surgical rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, Parkinson’s Disease programs, dry needling, cupping and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization.
In addition to bringing pain relief to the community, Bodyworks is also passionate about giving back. Each quarter they select an organization to support and spend time volunteering at.
“What’s special about this area is the people—we feel so fortunate to help these amazing folks achieve their movement and mobility goals all while creating life-long friendships,” Helgoe said.
